In the midst of the COVID 19 Pandemic, Iowa was tragically hit by one of the most destructive  storms in the state's history.

People were out of power for weeks. Phone services were down. Information couldn't be disseminated through traditional means of radio and television. Not only was there an informational blackout, but, initially, state and city emergency resources were nowhere to be seen.

Eventually emergency services came, but not before strangers and neighbors mobilized to support each other.
